Kazzoo in the Community
From 1st September
We are launching “Kazzoo in the Community.” A local project to help support the vulnerable and isolated people of Leicestershire, to get online and stay connected with friends and family. If you have a loved one who might benefit from spending some time with one of the team who will demonstrate how to do the different things they might be struggling with, just let us know and we will happily arrange a visit. We want to help people in isolation with their I.T Needs.
People who are scared of technology or how it works. Who need a helping hand, and who are uncomfortable or frightened with what could go wrong if they press the wrong button. Those people who need the personal touch.
We want people to feel safe, secure and more importantly keep in touch with family, friends and neighbours.
The world has changed due to this pandemic and communication is now at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
What do we cover?
The things we take for granted but may not be as easy to do for everybody.
What are the basics on a PC?
How do I send an email?
How do you use Facebook?
How do I Zoom?
How do I video call my grandchildren?
Who can we help?
We want to try and help the elderly, lonely, children, vulnerable or disabled people or people who have limited access to a big friendship circle. The people who find it difficult to communicate with friends or family. We want to make it easy for people to interact with each other.
Our offer is 90 minutes for one of our team members to help you, with your IT & communication needs. We will, of course, be following any relevant government guidelines in relation to Covid-19, at all times.
If you would like to speak to us about this please give us a call on 0116 4979842 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
